I’ve recently moved to the Auburn New York area in upstate New York. I’ve lost my garage space so unfortunately I can’t work on my model a in the driveway, especially with the volume of rain that we’ve been getting lately. I have a combination oil as well as antifreeze leak that is considerably large at the moment. I was wondering if anyone on this forum knew of a mechanic that was familiar with model A’s in the Central New York – Auburn -finger lakes area that I could bring it to. I thought I had one mechanic that had several older vehicles in front, and after a week sitting in his lot, called me and said
They would love to work on it, but it would be hourly with troubleshooting pulling out the motor etc. That gave me pause and want to pick it up immediately and mothball it until I can find someone locally that is familiar that could identify and finish the repair.

There is a large Model A group in the Mohawk Valley. The club is called the Mohican Model A Ford Club and they are centered in Oneida, NY. Address: 204 Lake St. Phone: 315-363-7913.

Sullivan Trail A's are towards your way. $10 a year. I just joined this club after purchasing my 1st A in June. I'm still learning as I go.
