Default Quick Rope Seal Question

Hi Guys:

I have a new left over 59a lower front oil pan rope seal that came with a pan gasket set- Will this work on my 8ba oil pan?? Also, no trim on the front, top and bottom, correct??

Thanks All,
Dave

The "no trim" instruction would apply, but not to the absurd. I got a rope that had to be trimmed by more than an inch. Can't tell you about an 8BA, that modern stuff is all Greek to me.

Dave the front rope seal is the same for both the 59A and 8BA. Your correct no trim needed.
