Default Marvel Schebler carburettor

Has anyone used a Marvel Schebler carburettor on their Model A motor?
I have a Model 10-2929 that was used on a A Model powered race car and trying to work out if there’s a benefit using it opposed to a 94 or 97 carb.
Thanks for any input.

As I understand it thr Marvel Schebler updraft carburetor was an aftermarket replacement for the original Zenith or Tillotson. I have been using one for 10 years. They are very simple, easy to clean and adjust. They do run very well. On the downside, the diecast zinc castings tend to warp and leak. I have had to press and scrape the top casting to get a seal.

Marvel will out perform a Zenith and Tilley but not a 94 or 97 carb.
