wide five to 1940 drums
What all do I have to change to go from 1939 wide five drums and wheels to the standard 5 X 5 1/2 1940 style drums and wheels? Thanks in advance.

Re: wide five to 1940 drums
As the others have said it is a "bolt on" type of change but depending on the size of the drums it might be good to have the shoes arced. It is interesting to note that the wide 5 wheels are coming back into style. Assuming they are in good shape there should be a market for your wide 5 hubs, drums, and rims.
