Re: Briggs 1930 front seat needed
I too am restoring a Briggs 30 T.S. and I've come to the conclusion that unless you find one in very good to new condition, don't bother with it. My original springs are ok for a pattern, But I would not trust the coils not break during use. This could be a P.I.T.A. in more ways than one! This probably not acceptable to you, but I've duplicated the front seat, spring and wood, from and old mattress spring. Go to my profile and scroll down to "My A" and check out my pictures. Any help I cvan give you, just holler.'
