Thanks, both are all original and never restored as far as I can tell so far.

How much for the ride of 2 cars to New Zealand? How long? How did you get the cars inspected before purchase?

The coupe had been in the same garage since 1978 but i don't know how long he had owned the '53, need to check the title. I have also purchased a '51 Convertible and a '57 Fairlane 500 Convertible from the family as well, but they are not due in New Zealand until mid February now. I am only Keeping the '41 and will be selling the others once I get them presentable and driveable.

Re: Latest purchaces finally home :)
Thanks for satisfying my curiosity about shipping costs. The price to live in paradise?
Had my friend Willis call me yesterday from NZ near Napier. I'm always amazed that it is tomorrow in NZ already. He found a bargain on wire harnesses for his woodie and wanted me to re-ship it for him. I told him of course. It is not much trouble to reship and he pays me by paypal. Willis bought a complete set of wood for his woodie from me so I've re-shipped for him several times. I appreciate he purchased the wood from me. Thru the miracle of the internet I've also talked to him in "person" via Skype. Willis also reminded me that $NZ is only worth $0.65 USA.

Thanks for your interest, it can be difficult getting items shipped to New Zealand. Luckily NZ Post have a service for handling small to medium sized items, this is a service I use frequently and for larger items I have contact with an importer here that is constantly bringing containers to NZ from Long Beach in CA so I use them for large or heavy parts. It's not cheap but it works for me. I don't suppose you, or you know of anybody that makes replacement wooden pieces that go behind the front doors (left and right) for '42 - '48 Ford Sedan Delivery's?

Re: Latest purchaces finally home :)
Don't know about the wood. Is the wood visible? Picture? I'll ship Willis his wiring harness in a USPS flat rate box. I have to fill out a simple form and go to the PO to make sure it is correct. Print the postage out on internet.
To New Zealand: USPS-Produced Box: 8-5/8" x 5-3/8" x 1-5/8" is $36 USPS-Produced Box: 13-5/8" x 11-7/8" x 3-3/8" or 11" x 8-1/2" x 5-1/2" $79 USPS-Produced Box: 23-11/16" x 11-3/4" x 3" or 12" x 12" x 5-1/2" $99
