Like:
My wife says that I spend more time and money on my car than her.
She calls my car, the other women in my life, or my girlfriend.
She also wishes I was as interested in starting her engine as the car's.

I was out driving the Model A last weekend when out of nowhere came an annoying whine. I told my wife to knock it off or I would leave her home next time.
