Default 1939 or 1940 Mercury

City: anywhere
State: USA

I'm on the lookout for the right 1939-1940 Mercury Coupe or convertible. Do you have one for sale or know someone who does? Please let me know. Prefer one that is running and not a big project, but will consider anything.
Email [email protected]

Thanks!

I have a rust free 1940 Mercury 4 door sedan for sale....all original for $7,025.00 firm....SELLING AT "LOW RETAIL"....This is a rust free "barn fresh" example of a 4 door Mercury Sedan, all original, runs good, tires and brakes are excellent, the car has not been modified from new. It had a cameo appearance in the 1982 "Frances Farmer Movie". Frances Elena Farmer (born September 19, 1913 in Seattle, Washington and died August 1, 1970 in Indianapolis, Indiana) was an American film actress.
The car has a brand new 6 volt battery and fuel pump. The interior is original as far as I can tell in that I have a 1940 Factory brochure that shows the original interior and color. The upholstery is good.
A fresh look at Nadaguides Classice Car values puts low retail at $7,025.00 and average retail at $9,950.00. I am asking low retail for this rust free Mercury that is all original, runs and drives. Nada's high retail is $15,100.00. A good quality paint job and some rechroming would make this car a very easy restoration.
Contact Larry at AC 253-581-1643 or email me at [email protected].
Other pictures and walkaround videos are available.

John,
I don't have one, but a friend here in San Antonio is looking to sell his `39 Mercury tudor project. It's a pretty solid old body and I think price is in the neighborhood of $7K. If interested, gimme a call at 210-884-7372.
