Smile machining 1934 motor block for main's

i need to know what the engineering diameter and tolerance is for the main's on a 1934 block.is there someone here that i can talk too about this?

If you are doing the job yourself mike the journals and allow for about .002 oil clearance.
If a shop is doing the job they should have all that is needed to do it. The main bearings are poured babbitt.

Here are nos factory bearing caps-- ready to bore for crankshaft size

It is hard to fit inserts properly because of the wide deep oil grooves not having good support
