Health issues continue, so I'm still trying to sell my AV8 roadster ... although it now features a new, lower price and some additional mod's have been made to the engine since the earlier post. I do want to emphasize that this is a "traditionally inspired" hot rod -- very reminiscent of a gow job that largely used pre-WWII components -- but is NOT a period correct build. You could easily make it such if you so desired, but would require replacement of several components.

Traditionally-styled AV8 roadster. 1928 Ford body (channeled 2 1/2" over original frame) and title with `38 Ford flathead engine, `39 top-loader 3-spd transmission (non-synchro), torque tube, and `34 rear end. Converted to 12-V negative ground with your choice of wheels and tires -- `35 Ford wires or `40 Ford steelies. Both sets of wheels have been powder-coated. Juice brakes. Louvered deck lid, fully functional `41 Pontiac gauge cluster, `39 Ford banjo steering wheel cut down to 15" and leather wrapped. Fully upholstered (including trunk) and nicely painted. Many unique period components -- running, driving, registered hot rod with year-of-manufacture license plates. Has appeared in a recent issue of HOP UP Magazine.

Recently swapped out intake -- now features a `53 Olds 4-bbl with auto choke and PVC, newer fuel pump and coil. List price is $35K but reasonable -- repeat reasonable -- offers will be considered. Sorry ... but not interested in trades
