Default BB Ford wheel split lock rings

I am restoring a 1932 BB Ford with 20 inch wheels , but the I do not trust the wheel split rings since they are not in the best of condition . Does anyone know of a source for new lock rings , perhaps for some other vehicle , but which will fit ? thanks , Tom

Tom - rings don’t interchange across rim variants and widths. Rim/ring combos were either Firestone or Goodyear products, and could be from a number of design families and widths within each. Period literature stressed the importance of ensuring a matching component set. For a 1932 truck I think you are gonna have to watch the sale sites (CL, eBay) or rely on fellow owners to swap/sell parts. Wheels do show up for sale though, so don’t feel it’s impossible to find them. Maybe two weeks ago a friend over on FTE emailed me asking about several complete early wheels he found locally. I think he has re-homed them already. And as I mentioned to you on your other EFV8 Club thread, new custom wheels built using your center discs with tubeless modern rims is an option too. Stu

Tom - I agree with all the points Stu mentioned. Be patient and keep looking. The wheels you need are out there somewhere and you will find them but it will likely take time.
