I would like to find a set of good used ww tires for my 53 vic. I just can't afford the money they want for the new ones, at least not right now anyway

Wide whitewall tires....Are you familiar with " Search tempest " ? Google it. It will allow you to put in " wide whitewalls " then the site will search all, " Craig's list " sites. Often, there will be used wide whitewall tires for sale, and often, fairly close to your home......hope you will have luck doing this.
