Re: Bye, bye, MAFCA
You are the only one that loses; unless you don't like reading the Restorer.

Re: Bye, bye, MAFCA
The problem is your local post office not MAFCA.

Re: Bye, bye, MAFCA
why dont you give it a few more days, and not blame mafca. After 50+ years im sure they have it down to a science by now. Im not saying their perfect, but im sure its not their fault. I just got my restorer 2 days ago, even though others that live within 20 miles of me got theirs over a week ago.

Re: Bye, bye, MAFCA
Maybe you should check with your neighbors first. In New Jersey your mail could be up to three houses away from you. different mai man every couple of days here. If the neighbor does not like you they throw it in the trash! Luckily my neighbors like me

As long as you're dropping out, I'll give you $100 cash for your car, regardless of condition.

Re: Bye, bye, MAFCA
Just to explain the post office, when you subscribe and use the standard or periodical rate the post office has about 30 days to deliver the mail. It is at the descretion of the local post office and carrier how and when the magazines are delivered. This has nothing to do with MAFCA. If you want prompt delivery pay for the first class postage.

Re: Bye, bye, MAFCA
Maybe your mail man keeps stealing them and reading all the good articles.

Re: Bye, bye, MAFCA
After this last issue i was thinking the same thing[dropping out] again!. There was more on Fashion Judging then car judging. More showed up for Fashion ! Maybe MAFCA should go out for that then cars! Again had to drag 8 or 9 cars out of the parking lot to make a showing of show cars. [must be the judging i hear!]

Re: Bye, bye, MAFCA
I can't believe the whining here. Through no fault of MAFCA, your magazine is later (than YOU think it should be) so you quit the club? A 68-page magazine with 3 pages devoted to fashion (and one of those just an ad for the judging standards) and that's too much for you? Wah wah wah. Given your histories here, I expected better, especially from you, Jack, and you, Peters180a.

Re: Bye, bye, MAFCA
Mike K is probably right. Back in the 70's and 80's when I was getting Popular Science, they kept coming with torn covers. I complained to the local post office, and they said it wasn't their fault, but that was the end of the torn covers.

I still have not gotten my latest edition either. We all just went through the same thing with MARC, so I guess you dropped your MARC membership as well?

Re: Bye, bye, MAFCA
I don't think we need this kind of garbage on the Ford Barn; let get back to Model A problems and the good answers a person gets who is having a problem !!!!!!
