Default Warranty

Does anyone have information on the original warranty on a new Model A? I wonder what was covered and for how long.

It seems that I read somewhere a while back that the warranty was for 90 days.

I've found this: 1931 First Standard New Car Warranty: 90 days/4,000 Miles.
It was on an antique-car website I can't find again

All a bit different from today's 7 years unlimited mileage some Korean manufacturers offer.

The warranty is clearly written in your owners manual.

Are you talking about the “Model ‘A’ Instruction Book?” What page? I didn’t see it when I looked through my copy.

It’s not in the copy of the “Model A Instruction Book” I have either.
I’ll give Car Shield a call to see if I can get an extension on my warranty.

I’ll get to the garage in the next couple days and check the operating manuals. In the mean time you should check prior posts on the same subject.

One of the Car Shield type companies call all of the time wanting to cover my car with their insurance. Since my daily driver is a Ranger truck and the wife's car is a lease, the only "car" I own is my Model A. I pressed 1 on my keypad and told the person that I would like their coverage on the car that I own. When I described the car, she hung up on me. Go figure!
