Default 8BA motor with sticky valve

Valve is sticking on my '49. It runs good on the road, but as soon as I stop at a stop sign or light at slow idle it stumbles and will stop. I have to
pull the choke out to keep it running. I tried some Deep Creep, spraying
it down the carb with the engine running about 1/2 throttle, helped for a
short time, but its back. Any ideas?, Maybe MMO in the oil?? I run MMO
in the gasoline now.......

What makes you think it is a stuck valve? Souns more like a carb problem

sounds more like a fuel related problem.

Carb adjustment, or fuel pump flex line or fuel pump glass bowl gasket.
