46 Coupe Rear Seat Removal
How do you release the seat portion of the back seat? I tried pushing down and back to unhook the seat but no go. Not pushing hard enough? Are there bolts or screws I didn't find?

Re: 46 Coupe Rear Seat Removal
You are probably not pushing hard enough. No bolts or screws to my knowledge except those that hold the backrest at the bottom

Re: 46 Coupe Rear Seat Removal
The Merc seat should come out the same way. Bottom first and then the backrest. The back rest should have some metal tabs on the bottom that are bolted in place to the floor pan.

Re: 46 Coupe Rear Seat Removal
Thanks for the responses. Push back then up is what I suspected, but I guess the -10C weather is causing the seat padding to be too stiff to compress and not allowing the seat move back to unhook.

Re: 46 Coupe Rear Seat Removal
Unscrew/bolt the bottom of the back of the rear seat and then push up as there are two tabs that hold it in place.
