Default Henry Fords personal 1928 Coupe - where is picture?

I remember seeing a picture of Henry Fords personal 1928 Coupe in some publication. The coupe had a cowl vent in it, that was only in production in the first 1928 Fordor Sedans.
Does anyone remember what publication that picture was in?
Can anyone scan that picture?
Thanks, Neil

It seemingly does exist. Or did exist.

A pix is currently being auctioned on Ebay at http://www.ebay.com/itm/1929-Ford-Mo...item565713372a

Armington-Sims Shop behind.

Not sure this one is that early. It has the "graduated" (parallel) louvers on the hood and the bumper bars are closed (first 200 cars?)

Thank you Joe.
I thought I remembered a picture of Henry standing next to this car.
It's hard to tell in a black and white photo, but it is interesting to me that Henry's personal car may have been black, as most of his Model T's were.

There may be other "Henry Car" pix out there. I quit when I came to the first one.

The car mirrored my thoughts on Henry exactly. He lived his life excessively in only two areas - his women and his company. The rest was held in thoughtful puritan reserve.

That car is still owned by The Henry Ford (the Henry Ford Museum) and last time I saw it was on display inside the garage at the Henry Ford Estate in Dearborn, Michigan. This was a couple of years ago.

The car is also in the "50th Anniversary Model A Ford" calendar for April 1977.
The picture is in color and the car is black and shows a vent clearly on the driver's side.
BTW, I own the 1928 60A Fordor featured for Feb 1977. Have owned it since 1976.

I saw once that there were several accoutrements installed on it, the only one I remember is that there was a wire rack designed to hold a bottle of Poland water, a favorite refreshment of his.

Given his intense precautions for personal safety, it would be hard for me to believe he drove it often personally or if he did, he had a bodyguard right next to him and a phalanx of other cars surrounding him. I suspect there was little public information available about his travelling practices to better protect him.

There is a large photo of Henry Ford's car sitting outside the Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn for sale at Hershey. Saw it in Chocolate Field- 500.00 on the frame. Large20"x24" or bigger.

Interestingly, this photo is taken inside Greenfield Village. It is likely that this photo was taken in the 1950s or maybe even later. I believe a good color photo of this car also appeared in Automobile Quarterly many years ago when they did a Model A Ford feature.

I recall reading that Henry Ford's personal car was a Special Coupe. It was black and had gold pin striping.

In reading some of the personal history of Henry Ford, I remember that (at least at one time) he had a chauferred(sp?) Lincoln Sedan that he moved around in. He had bought the Lincoln Motor Car Company about 1922 or so, so it was part of the 'Ford' family of cars.

His wife Clara (ever the frugal home body) would mend Henry's socks, which being the dotting husband, he dutifully wore. Henry hated the darned socks, and once in the Lincoln, we would take them off and replace them with 'store bought' socks to his liking. On the way home, we would once switch them back to Clara's mended socks !
