Default I put another video up: 33 Cold start. SU fuel pump prime..

I had the camera handy this evening when I had to start the 33 coupe up after sitting for a few months through the winter.

so join me for another thrilling installment of "What's going on in Mart's garage".

You might be interested in the SU fuel pump installation - very handy for those first starts after sitting.

Great car Mart, around here if you left one setting for any length of time the sorry gas would mess things up.

Looks to be a 1937 21 Stud flathead V8 you have in that '33....

Yes, it's a late 21stud with the pumps in the block. Could be military or post war Ford Pilot. Sorry for the bad lighting and the unfinished sentences - Shows it's not scripted!

Mart, You mentioned post war pilot... How long did they use the 21 stud, and what changes did they make from the '37?

Mart I watched your video, you sure do have a lot of stuff in that small garage.
I do envy you though, I have to rent a storage unit for the winter as my wife's car occupies the garage during the snowy months.

Looking good Mart. Electric pump sure simplifies starting after a long rest. I sometimes have to remove the air cleaner and pour a little gas down the carb to start the 52 Merc if it has sat a long while. Of course that is all the more reason for me to start it more often :-)
