Window Regulator in '40 Sedan
Has anyone got a recommendation of an overall protectant that I could spray on my '40 and '57 window regulator mech's. Silicon....WD-40, what ?
Thx ! |

Re: Window Regulator in '40 Sedan
I use the white lithium grease on the regulators. Silicone spray or WD-40 is a waste of time for anything that needs long term lubrication. Use the grease on the gears and on the tracks.

Yes, white lithium grease, and give special attention to the gear teeth. That seems to be a major wear point.
