Default MAC's electronic Ignitions.

I see in Mac's new catalog he is offering a E/I for flatheads 12 & 6 volt. I'm just wondering if anyone is using one and how it works. Good /bad ?
Any input would be appreciated.

Don't take the lack of response personal. It actually denotes a lack of interest in anything MACS, which itself is your answer.

I've bought a ton of stuff from Macs and sold to them also. I've found generally their stuff is not really any worse than any other repro business. In fact some is better than some of the repro places in Oregon and down south. Check Bob Drake catalog and they tell you they outsource their parts from "off shore"

If you want an E/I, why would you look for anything other than the tried and true Petronix?

Well 36tbird....For one I didn't know or hear anything about the tried and true Petronix. Basically I was just sitting on the crapper looking at a mac's catalog and saw that they where now offering a E/I and was just wondering if anyone has tried them. I have in the past thought about buying one and installing it on my 46 but could only find one for a 12 system. What is Petronix asking for a E/I. My car runs just fine without it now. But you never know what the future holds.

ford38v8... I haven't been to the barn in some time and didn't know the majority of the folks here didn't deal or care for Mac's. Iv dealt with them in the past and they where pretty much the same as all the others. How ever I haven't dealt any of them in some time now. Cars been complete and running fine for a couple years now. Just saying.
