Cable X speedo box
Has anyone used a cable X or similar speedo box set-up?
I fit my 35 Coupe with a T5 but still have the original gauges & I would like to be able to see my speed as well as checking gas mileage! Any input would be great! Thank you, Joe |

Re: Cable X speedo box
Two options come to mind. Swap out your T5 for a pre 1985 trans that has a mechanical spedo drive or have your spedo converted to electronic or GPS. I believe Classic Instruments can do the conversion. The most economical will probably be the trans swap.

Re: Cable X speedo box
I found a Cable X brand new on epay with the correct cable for $285.00!
I went for it. For me, much more cost effective than replacing the trans! |

Re: Cable X speedo box
I installed the cable X box today & it works perfectly!
Easy install, took about two hours. So if you want to plunk down $285.00 for the box it does work! |
