Default Assembling 68C Belt Rail and Package Tray

I am close to assembling the belt rail and package tray. At the moment I have the door pillars braced to maintain the correct in/out position and door gap. The belt rail is wrapped with a fabric as part of the interior installation. My question is when is this fabric applied? It would appear that the fabric must be on the belt rail before it is bolted to the sheet metal but how do you hide the nuts on top? What is the procedure for assembling the belt rail?

I want to get the package tray installed to finalize the positioning of the door pillars. I don't want to have to remove the package tray to install interior trim.
Thank you for your comments. Ed

The key for trimming like this are the areas where the wrap will not be seen. The rear area of the belt tack rail will have the top material attached so it's the unseen side. The fabric can be placed under the rail on the front side and wrapped over the top after attachment but before the top fabric is tacked down. A person can cover it up that way. I can't say exactly how Ford procedure went with overlapping of covering material sections in particular places or that type of information but an owner that has done one may reply for you on that. The inside would tend to bunch up in the corners unless those sections are overlapped in sequence to give a nice flat and even look to the covering. Top bows on some cars are done this way as well.
