Default Gasket Sets

Anyone ever use "Best Gasket"? It's a company out of CA that make flathead gasket sets.
I've always used Fel Pro but want to consider this company.
If anyone has used these gaskets please let me know what you think.
Thanks

I've used "Best" brand gasket sets on off topic engines and have been satisfied with the fit, quality, and seal.

As a long time felpro dealer I've used them for years and been very happy.

That said I've heard nothing but good things about best gasket and have considered becoming a dealer for them as well, they carry many older sets (studes, packard, etc..) that felpro no longer carries.

let us know what you think of the gaskets.

I'm in the process of creating some Flathead Ford compression ratio charts in Excel from the 32's through the 53's. Before I started I talked to Joe Abbin about his recomenndations for head gaskets. Joe recommended I talk to Armin Brown owner of Best Gasket Co. as they are the only gaskets Joe will use. Armin sent me the info I was requesting as to cc volumes of his GraphTite and copper gaskets to use in the calculations. Fel-Pro has greatly reduced their product line and cannot cover the models that Best Gasket does. Fel-Pro also does not sell any copper gaskets either.

The charts are about finished and all calculations were done using the Best Gasket Graphtite cc volume info. Right now the PDF file is 12 pages long and includes heads info from Ford USA and Canada as well as all the info I could find on aftermarket heads currently in production and discontinued.

I also used Best Gaskets, that I bought thru Reds Headers. I had some questions about the pan gasket trimming for the rear seal, and a question about the head gaskets sealer. I emailed Armin Brown, and he was more than willing to answer any questions, and you didn't have to wait a week to get a reply from your email.
