40 ford pickup build
I have a 40 ford pickup that I put a 40 car dash in and need advise on what steering column to use. I have it sitting on a 90 ford ranger frame. Was going to use the ranger column but is to short. Any help would be helpful.

Re: 40 ford pickup build
Depending on what engine trans you have, Try a late 70's to early chevy van column, they are usually available with Tilt, an automatic shifter and with or with out an ignition key in the column. I used a late 70's Jeep tilt in my 40 pickup (its a GM column) I have an extra tilt late 60's-early 70's caddy column with no shifter and ignition switch in the column if you want for $85 ship from 08807 If you are using an automatic then you will need a floor shifter . PM geoford41 I can send you a picture
