Default 1928 Fordor Leatherback front seat question

Getting ready to upholster seat springs and front seat carriage assembly.
There was not much wood left when I started so Im not sure if what I have done so far is correct. Is there a tack strip to attach the material that covers the back of the carriage assembly?
Im also looking for the dimensions from point 'A' on the passenger side to the corresponding spot on the other side, same with point 'B'

Can't help with the dimensions, but on my 29 TS (which has a similar seat frame) the back material was attached with spray adhesive and then tacked along the top edge. Then the front fabric tacks also on the top edge and all the seams and tacks are covered with a wire-on welting (also tacked on) and the folded over with a rubber mallet.
