Default '37 Ford coupe trunk mat?

I don't know if I'm missing something but I cannot seem to find a trunk mat for my '37 Ford coupe. I've gone on numerous websites and looked at vendor catalogs and everyone seems to skip over the '37 model year. Does anyone know a supplier who carries them?
Any help appreciated.

My 1937 Ford coupe with 23,000 actual miles had no trunk mat but it is a standard if that makes a difference. The coupe floor had a black paper with a grain or pebble surface to it and as suspected even with low miles as a farm car it was ripped to shreds.not one of Fords better ideas. I bought a later mat ,think 1939 and trimmed to fit. leBaron Bonney sells the paper if you want original.

It was problem for me too,all the originals I saw showed evidence of a heavy sort of black paper for a trunk floor mat. Because of all the indentations in the floor, a bound black carpet wasn't really an option, so, I glued to the floor, a very heavy -grained black vinyl, similiar to what you used to see on Vinyl tops (remember those?). Using a hair dryer, I was able to get the vinyl to conform to all the shapes. That was in 1979, and it still looks good.

Ahhhhh! My car is a Standard as well and it has tannish cut-pile carpeting. Tres elegant.
Mine is an 87k mile car with 99% original paint and interior so it might be nice to have the pebble-grained paper material you speak of. I'll go on LeBaron Bonney's website.
Thanks for the help.

All the 37's I have seen have the grained paper in the trunk. My original '38 Deluxe Club Coupe also had the same paper in it. It was a Rouge car. Page 3-18 of the V-8 Club's '37 book explains the floor covering of the 37 trunk. It was covered with embossed Morocco grained paper to match the side panels.
