The tour happened over last weekend and it was a real good time. Time flew by since this was first planned. Go to the last pages of this tread to see pictures.

The Fastasy Speedway race day was canceled due to lack of enough cars for a full field. The folks at the speedway did provide a "play day". And we PLAYED!!

Chuck, it definitely all sounds good to me. A great job on your part for putting all of this together! The timing/date works good for me and of course with Olivia as well . I'll be arriving back home from Utah on the 19th so this will give me four days to get packed/loaded and up to the meeting point in NH. As my kids will sometimes say..."I am really pumped up" about doing this tour!
Okay....all you fellow Barners...let's see how many of you will have those old garage kept vehicles (or even your modern one) all repaired, tuned and ready to join in on this one. Give Chuck an early heads up if you think you can make it. These Barners tours have all been great fun and enjoyment for me...not to mention all the good memories you will have to look back upon. Hope many of you can make it.

Once again:

Anyone want to go for a drive in Maine?
This is the latest Summer Tour itinerary. It does not change much from the one first posted. The start point will be downtown Portsmouth, NH as there is more to see and do there. If any one gets to Portsmouth on the early side there is more than enough to do until the meeting time. I will continue to contact the various venues and hotels to see if we, as a group, can get some reduced rates. Stay tuned. If you have any interest in coming along on this tour please drop me an email at [email protected]. I will use this address to keep everyone up dated. It will not be spam. This should be a fun event.

On friday's, Blast from the past has it's weekly cruise-in from 5-8pm. After the tour in Biddeford might be worth cruising over to (rte. 5) 114 sokokis trail in east Waterboro, 207-247-8005. Scott

Okay folks Chuck is putting a lot of effort into organizing a great tour. I know many of you who post here live in New England and own some nice cars for touring. It would be great if many of you could join in on this tour so we can get to meet each other and see each others cars. I have personally had a great time attending these Barner's gatherings and tours, have met and made some good friends, seen some awesome cars, and traveled through some spectacular areas of the country. I encourage you to join in on this/these tours and gatherings for some real fun and enjoyment. I also encourage you to stop thinking of reasons why you think you can't make it, and start thinking about what you can do to join in here and do this tour. I am convinced that this will be a tour you will not want to miss.

Scott,
Thanks for the head's up on the cruise Maine magazine. Just ordered my free copy on their website. Looks like a handy tool for those of us that plan to join the Barners tour in August. John
