Yep, it is done...except four hauling the wheat to market (we have our own home storage); orginizing our shop for which we gutted it out and have just insulated it, next the lights and heat source (Man it was cold up there in November-February); and chopping some stuble before the snowq flies.

Steve,
thanks for starting this thread. There are a lot of good sites in here I did not know about.
BTW,your link to aries restoration (you list it under mufflers) is missing a hyphen, and will not link to the server. While Aries does make mufflers, they also restore and service all pre war cars.

The correct address is:

Glenn,

I appreciate the information. Thank you. I began to include all the chapters with websites and discovered that there are a TON of them in both national clubs, some belonging to both, some not.

SO I decided to "indicate" that one can go to either the MARC or MAFCA site to get the most current information on a local club in a persons area of choice. Much easier.

Thanks Don.

I have a feeling that this information will get lost in the shuffel as everything else does on this site.

I'm on the case.

The only thing I am going to remove from the list is other forum sites... For obvious reasons, I don't promote other forums.

Thanks... and sorry again!

WHY don't you "PLUCK" the chapters of local MAFC's off the listings on MAFCA and MARC's sites as Ken and I have suggested?
Is there a reason for you to ASK for these one hundred or so sites' addresses when they SIT right there for the "PLUCKING"?

Pluck,

I have been building a list similar to yours and intend to use it for an article in my local club newsletter. My list is almost as large as yours and I will cross check the two lists time permitting. There is one major category missing from your list, “Other”. This lists includes things like maps sites to find driving directions to swap meets, weather sites to see if the swap meet will be rained out, phone sites to look up other car enthusiasts (I include several since they seem to always be obsolete), a dictionary so you can use the right words in your posts, and a cat web site (Does your cat like to sleep on the roof of your roadster? At least you don’t have to worry about mice eating the upholstery). All right, the cat site may be pushing it a little but you get the idea. It would also be good to add a few key words to explain what is contained in the site. These words will enable you to use the search function on your computer to rapidly find things. I keep my file in Microsoft word and I can hit “Ctrl f” and type in what I am trying to find. When I open your post I can enter “Ctrl f” and my internet service provider will prompt me to add a word I want to find.

I had a site labeled 1aaaaaa that showed every model through the years, and included the coupe with the special blue. But now the site comes up as not found. Anyone know what I'm referring to, and knows a new link?

EDIT: I found it.... http://www.gwcmodela.org/bodyphotos.asp

The body plans site does not work, under paint TC Global is listed twice.

Under Tires, Universal in Hershey is missing.

Under speedometers there should be Chuck & Nancy Bertschi 224 Navaho Trail Richardson, TX 75080 972-231-5019

Here is the web site for Condon and Skelly. They are very near my home. Mt annual incurance for my new leatherback was $88. Seems good to me for NJ.

Glenn,

That is Al Lepore...Al passed away last year but his son has taken over the business.

They reproduce some high quality Model A items.

If you were to call them, I think you can get a catolog...there is no website that I know of.

Hello Pluck,
It seems like Fordbarners like California Car Covers for fitted covers, so could you add: http://www.calcarcover.com/ to your car cover section?

Thanks.

This is where I put all the work I'm doing on mine. This way I'll be able to remember how to put it back together. And maybe get tips from people who know what in the heck they're doing.

The Piquett Model T Museum (Detroit) website: http://www.tplex.org/
Not actually the Model A Ad Collectors site (Howard doesn't do computers much), but a great site where they share their Model A ads. There were 109 the last time I looked: http://www.flickriver.com/groups/119...l/interesting/

Not sure if a sticky can be modified, but the first one I clicked the link to was billsbangers from the first page. Looked like fun, but not if the wife had seen it..

Sewall is deaf and can't use a phone and he has no website, but he will send photos and prices to anyone who inquires.

Please list him under "TOOLS" or create a category "TOOL DISPLAY CASES".

Hej Hej!

Good morning everybody.

My Webside is >>> www.hotchkiss.eu

With my Vintage Cars
I used to travel in Wales, the Middlands, Ireland, Scottland, the Faroer Islands, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Lappland,
starting from Strasbourg, Alsace, France, the town of the European Parliament.

Now I have a normal Phaëton from 1928, big block, and she will be once my new travelcar, but only in 2015, or 2016, because I am travelling in Lappland or the Lofoten Islands (higher than Alaska) since 3 summers with my bicycle and my recumbent trike.

I am 60, and I made 350.000 Km (yes!) in 31 years with my vintage cars in my youngest years.
But I thought in 2011 that it is time to become young and not to travel like a potatoebag anymore.

I am registrated in the swedish Ford-A Club, "Svenska Afordarna", but I am french and speaking french, german, english and swedish.

Ha det så bra
Hälsningar

Thomas Rudolf,
Strasbourg, Alsace, France

ps: I am looking for the rear tail of a tonneau cover or a complete one.
Is there a refabrication for this item?

I didn't see "Bauer Electronics in Bend, Oregon 541-389-7755. They make the Harnesses for Bratton's and Snyders and I think all other vendors." Quote from Wire Harness post response by verdirick 1/15/2014.
I called Bauer Electronics and talked to Cris he's spot on. I would ad them to the list.

This past year I was searching for a place to get my 1931 wheels straightened and contacted about 10 local shops, no one was setup or interested except one small shop in Laurel Maryland. The shop is family owned by two Brothers who started their business about three years ago. They asked me to bring them over to see if they could take on the project, well they not setup but willing to construct a special jig to get the job done. I provided them with a Model A hub and they then constructed a jig that was compatible with their equipment. They then straightened my wheels perfectly and they were in real bad shape. They wanted to practice so I gave them another six wheels and all are now perfectly straight and true. So long story short here is their information to post and you may want to call them to discuss?

This is the section where you put down vendors that you know and recommend. You need to put your request in the main Model A forum;

When I was at a local car show recently in Holdenville, OK, I met a fellow who does custom upholstery work in Arcadia, Ok. His truck seat looked nice, but the photos I have don't really show well all the work he did with the cab walls and such. I have not used him and I have no idea how he is to work with, but I am just passing on his name and number in case someone around that area wants to give him a try or can recommend him or not. He does not have any internet website and tells me he "damn sure doesn't want one, either." He is the guy in the darker t-shirt in the photos. :-)

HIs business is called:

Johns Oklahoma County 66 Custom Auto Upholstery.
His name is John Hargrove.
HIs phone is: 405-396-2055 or 405-664-8959
HIs address is:
13441 E. Highway 66, Arcadia, Ok. 73007

Hard to find parts like valve stems sets, 3X spark plugs, wiring, instrument panels nickel butler, Original ammeters, Org handles and a 50 year collection of original parts. Thumbs up Re: Model A/AA Ford Websites...Can YOU add to the list?"

Hi can you please explain how you add a website to the list on the A/AA Ford websites, i see you have resources for other catagorys but you dont have one for woodgraining, i would like to add a woodgraining website to the list , i think it would be a great resource for the people that are restoring vehicles

To all...

I have asked Ryan to remove the STICKY called Model A/AA Ford Websites...Can YOU add to the list?" for which I started years ago for the benifit of all of you.

As you can see, the last time I was able to get on this posting of mine was January 17, 2017...That has been over 4-1/2 years ago. Since that time I have been unable to update the list because Ryan has deleted the "EDIT" from the posting.

There are websites that are no longer valid;

There are websites that are new (and not listed...but are elsewhere);

There have been changes in phone numbers and emails;

Quite a few to be exact thus the list is out of date.

I had asked Ryan during this time span about 2-3 times to reinstate the "EDIT" feature but all I got back was "We are working on it".

He tells me that I have never asked him...BS

So here we are...4-1/2 years later with an outdated list for you folks.

I have told him that as of now, due to this/his action, I will not be updating the list that is now on this site...at least not here...but it is updated...You will have to search for that one.

Sorry.

Zero interest in an online pissing match. In my pm, I offered special privileges just for you to edit. You can take it and carry on or you can find another forum.

If you don’t like the way I run the joint - cool. I get it. I can’t please everyone. But I’m not really into hosting out and out disrespect.

All I have to say to you Ryan is "BULL SHIT". You have NOT given me access for anything...You have not reinstated the "EDIT" to my personal posting...so please stop your Bull Shitting with me.

You told me a few months ago that you were working on reinstating the "EDIT" to the post...Where the hell is it?

So don't screw with me anymore.

I was trying to help fellow Model A'ers by that posting and you have got limits to editing? What the hell!

Remove the damn post in its entirity! IT IS OUT OF DATE!

Enough is enough!

BANN me if you want...I do not give a damn anymore.

You have not been any help, in any way, shape or form on this deal.

Pluck
This is the kind of thing I’m not really interested in participating in… nor am I interested in hosting. I’m really just looking to host guys into early Fords without the hostility or ego…

If that’s an issue, you are definitely on the wrong forum.
