Default Brake return spring addition

Brought this car with this brake return spring is it installed correct

A little hard to tell from the photo, but it doesn’t look right. The purpose of the spring to to pull the pedal back to its proper position. It has to attach to the pedal in a manner that does that.

JD, I can't tell either from the pic. Let me ask you. Does the brake pedal return quickly after you release it?

If it does then the spring is correct.

If it's returning the brake pedal to the correct position, then it is installed correctly.

Bratton diagram shows it correctly installed.

Can not tell from photo in Post 1.

This is a "band aid" fix for a car with worn out brake parts.

The spring is intended to be hooked on the stock motor mount. If you have Float-A-Motor mounts you will have to figure something out as they don't accommodate it.
