Well, I rectified my issue with the wheel stud. (Sorry my pics seem to be too large)
I ordered wheel nuts from Ford 6W7Z-1012-DA. They are a “bulge” nut with a larger 60 degree surface. The threads are recessed slightly. I used a 35/64 drill bit and drilled out another 2 threads, chased the threads and it works great on the NAPA 641-1617 studs.
