Default Headlights and tail lights

Is it possible to have headlights and parking lights at the same time it appears the switch let you have one or the other but not both?? Also is there a place for me to insert a picture of my car ?
Thanks DABA

No headlights and parking lights on at the same time without modification to wiring and you may overload your generator if you did have both on at the same time.

To add you car click on "User CP" at the top of the page and then click "Edit Avatar" on the left side.

If you want "parking lights" to come on with the headlights, just move them over to the tail light terminal in the switch at the bottom of the steering column.

With standard bulbs what does the amperage draw look like with headlights (both HI and LOW) with parking lights added?

On the rear does this basically give you "modern day" running lights and brake lights?

Do the headlights look funky with both bulbs illuminated?

Thinking about the LED option which would eliminate the large draw so may be something to consider. Was just thinking the other day the parking lights are kind of a wasted light in today's driving environment.

My parking lights are in the cowl lights. Everything is LED.

If thinking about going to LED headlights, search here on FB , tons of info. Some like them, some do not. They have been extensively discussed.

I updated mine with an alternator well that accommodate headlights and tail lights at the same time I’d rather not wreck anything if possible

Your posts are confusing. You ask about headlights, taillights and park lights.

Taillights come on with the headlights, Or they are suppose to. Park lights do not. But you could wire them to do that, but why.

The light switch,
4:00 high/tail
5:00 low/tail
6:00 off
7:00 park/tail

Adding the cowl lights to the system will not add that much draw on the system, not much more then adding another tail light. He isn't asking about having both high and low beams on at the same time.
