Default CB antenna mount

Looking for a CB antenna mount that will fit on my '31 Vicky. Have any of you discovered one that mounts well on an A's bumper?

I'm not finding one that looks like it will work. I'm planning on mounting a Firestick on this mount.

Not wanting to do a lot of fabrication.

Go to your local truck stop there will be different mounting brackets you can choose from. I was able to find a thinner one that, once drilling the hole bigger, mounted to the backside of the bumper clamp.

Thanks for your Good idea! I hadn't thought of that.

I just knew someone on this forum had to have installed a CB radio in their "A!"

I made a 4" X 4" metal pad mounted to the bumper. Then I use a magnetic base to mount the antenna to the plate.

Some use a rumble seat step pad clamp (no pad of course) to the bumper arm

Went to truck stop today. No luck.

I'll check out these other ideas.

So I just re-read your post -- originally, I thought you meant the pad AND the clamp, but, of course, the pads are aluminum therefore, not magnetic. But upon closer review I see that you are indicating the clamp only incorporating a piece of steel plate to attach the magnetic base!

Clever, Mr McGuiver! 😂

Bill,
This is what I made out of 2" aluminum angle for our 31 Vickie, wish the picture's were clearer. Also they sell a variety @ Radio Shack.

Vise grip CB mount. Any location, any position. Easy on and off when you don't need it. Google it, many for sale everywhere, although I make my own.
