It seems no one in town carries sta-lube 3131. I need it for a rear wheel bearings. The only HD grease available is sta-lube 3111 which is sort of a HD universal grease. On-line 3131 is available but shipping is kind of pricey for a can of grease, also there is the time element. I have everything apart and would sure like it now. Are there any substitutes that can do the job?

NAPA carries that grease. If not in stock, they can order it in overnight with little or no shipping.

Amazon com----it's quick & probably cheaper than NAPA.

What KGS said x3. I recently ordered several small containers from NAPA. They didn't have it on the shelf, but ordered from their central warehouse in my area and had it for me the next day. Cost = $6-7.00 each. Just packed two rear wheel bearing with it 3 days and 900 miles ago.

My experience .... Amazon cheaper regarding Sta-Lube products, and sometimes free shipping. But that won't solve your need to have it immediately.

I always use NAPA, same as Ken and JM. No problem getting from main warehouse if it is not available locally. I usually order a few extra containers to have on hand. LouB.

Well, I tried NAPA. They didn't have the stuff in stock but they could ordered it from Detroit, which they did. Had the grease in less than 24 hours!. Thanks guys for the tip!
