Default 2500 H.P. - What could possibly go wrong??

Not a Ford but I thought you would enjoy this Jay Leno Video and watch it to the end it was NOT supposed to go this way!

“This has been on my bucket list since I was a kid,” says car enthusiast Jay Leno of driving the Hemi Under Glass, a 2,500-horsepower Plymouth Barracuda first introduced in the 1960s, with its massive engine situated in the rear of the car, surrounded by glass, known for the way its front end rockets skyward when the driver accelerates. Jay finally got to cross this particular item off his list, taking a spin in the 'Hemi Under Glass' with its inventor, Bob Riggle.

Wow.... what can I say. I love Jays show, but his haircut is looking more and more like Donald's, these days.

The sad thing is the drag strip is on the other side of that wall. I still don't know why they weren't on the drag strip.

I saw that episode of Leno's garage. I imagine that he had to go back to the garage and change his pants. Way too much fun!

That would be like a pilot giving a person there first helicopter ride and crash landing. They would never forget a ride like that if they survive it. They'd likely never get in one again either.

Fortunately that crash wasn't in the original car,
so nowhere near as costly. The original version
had a straight front axle.

Wild ride but it only about sheet metal, paint and money from people that can afford the ride.

Not that anyone here gives a hoot, but the original Hemi Under Glass
was a 1965 Barracuda, and did NOT have a straight axle.
The one they rolled is a clone, but is a 1967 Barracuda.

TORONTO, ON // FEBRUARY 28, 2017 • There are few people who compare to Linda Vaughn when it comes to being a popular and integral part of the world of motorsports for such an extended period of time.

Originally from Georgia, Linda Vaughn first came to prominence as Miss Atlanta Raceway, before gaining world-wide fame as Miss Hurst Golden Shifter. For more than 55 years, Vaughn has been adored by fans and has amassed an incredible list of experiences as a true industry insider.
Linda Vaughn will be in attendance at the upcoming Motorama Custom Car & Motorsports Expo Presented by Mothers, signing copies of her new book, ‘Linda Vaughn: The First Lady of Motorsports.’ She’ll also be participating in ‘meet & greets’ and signing autographs and taking pictures with Motorama showgoers.
Motorama takes place March 10, 11 & 12 at Toronto’s International Centre, across the road from Pearson International Airport.
Now a resident of California, Vaughn’s recently released autobiography is jammed with photographs and stories about her life as a sex symbol and her career as a successful marketer of automotive products. In the book, she also discusses her friendships and the experiences she’s shared with some of the most famous and successful people in motorsports.

A bit lucky that no one lost a hand or arm...the car needs safety webs on the side windows. Did you see Jay's arm wailing about, nothing to hold onto, during the rolls ~3:15 ?
