Wow...That looks like Forest Avenue in Laguna Beach, California, looking east. It most likely is not but it sure looks that way to me. I worked for the Daily Pilot Newspaper in Laguna Beach 50 years ago...Ernie in Arizona

The hill in the background is now overgrown but looks similar.

Yes, very similar. The trees seem to match too, although after 75 years I wonder if they should.... Tried to upload a Google Street View pic, to it is too large for FB to handle.

See the attached document. It was a photography class project at a local Jr. college back in the 1990's when photography was wet. I did a series of then & now photo shoots. The old photos came from a historical library collection in Santa Ana.
