Would like to find running engine for a friend

I received a phone call the other evening from a friend who is hoping to find a running Model A engine. From my understanding, he would like to find one (not a fresh, rebuilt one) without any major issues - apparently this is for an older, unrestored car that is intended to be driven only for short distances. Please let me know if you might have one or know of anyone who might.
