Day light savings tip...
Other than changing your smoke alarm batteries, don't throw out your wifes cooking pans...there perfect for oil changes. The pictured 8qrt ceramic coated pan cleans up nice after a job.
On my T and the 39 about every other long ride I drain the oil through cheese cloth down the 6' CPVC pipe that rests on the pan rails. No filter on these vehicles so this works good between changes. Gentlemen keep your heads up and stay positive |

I find that fresh oil between fresh oil changes seems to work even better. 8^) |

Oil is cheap. Rebuilds are not.

Re: Day light savings tip...
you just have to let the drain oil sit in a bucket for about 30 years, then all the crap finally settles to the bottom and the oil looks new !

Frantz claims a roll of toilet paper filters down to 1 micron if the roll doesn't fall apart. 8^)

Re: Day light savings tip...
Back in the day (my dad was a rep for Frantz), they had their own special toilet paper rolls made just for their filters that didn't disintegrate. I don't know if they still do, but there is a convenience store/gas station down the road from me that still uses it.
