Default Ignition switch '59 Galaxie

I'm having to spend more time giggling the key in the ignition switch to get it to finally turn. Is there any way to use my old keys in a new switch?

there are probably thousands of combinations. you "may" luck out but I doubt it. take the sw. to locksmith and get a new key made.

If your old keys works ok in the doors and the key has sentimental value just have a lock smith change new switch to match old key. If no sentimental value have locksmith match the door locks to the new keys and switch. Better yet try to find a complete lockset that does both the doors and ignition.
