Default Van Pelt

Has anyone been in contact with Mac VanPelt sales lately. I've been trying to get a hold of him for over 3 weeks and left messages and have not heard. Not sure if he's out for or has any health issues or gone on a trip etc and hope he's OK. I have bought from him a number of years ago but I don't believe I ever had trouble getting a hold of him.

I'm looking for some 50 merc overdrive parts. If anyone has any insight to Van Pelt sales or can provide any overdrive parts I would be most grateful.

Larry, I know he is in the shop on Wednesdays and usually does not take phone calls on that day. He does however, return calls. Someone will chime in here and know what he is up to. Did you try an email?

I spoke with a lady from their office yesterday. She sent me a tracking number for an overdue order of tranny parts. The box seems to be in a state of limbo at the Canadian Customs office in Toronto.

I just placed my first ever order with VP maybe 2 1/2 weeks ago. I had called the week prior (maybe the 3rd week of August?) and got voicemail saying they were out of the office all that week. If I recall, I think I called the Tuesday after their return so as not to bother on the first day back. Phone was answered right away by the nice lady, we talked through my order, and I received it a few days later.

So I guess what I'm saying is that unless there was an emergency, I assume they're around. Keep trying.

Mac gave me a ring back this afternoon. Good to go here!
Glad he's AOK and I'll be working on getting stuff together for this overdrive unit.
Many thanks!
