Re: Check this Flatty out
That must be because of the sea-foam green paint and the yellow plug wires! LOL

Re: Check this Flatty out
Outrageously delightful,,,,,,,,it appears as though it is destined for '39 - '41. Loose the
set back intake and go for the Offy clone Speedway 910-15985 CENTER mount 2x2 and 8BA pumps. Allows room for a center mount gen and tucks in w/ room to spare. Only my biased opinion. Charlie ny |

Re: Check this Flatty out
Here's some interesting reading about 'reproducing" the twin 8.
https://www.fordbarn.com/forum/showt...0934&showall=1 And more: Parts are pricey, if available. Check this out. https://www.google.com/search?q=twin...hrome&ie=UTF-8 |

Re: Check this Flatty out
Given the horsepower and fuel requirements of almost any engine we'd run in any of our hotrods, there would be extremely negligible increases in HP with dual plugs. Outside of reliability goals (dual coils, dual plugs), I can see no value other than bragging rights.
Now, on modern top-fuel Hemi engines making 8000 HP+, there is a need . . . but that is about it. |

A 'beaut', for sure! But it would look just as fast, yet with way more class if that ghastly yellow was on somebody else's Chevy engine. DD |
