37 Ford hood hinges
Are 37 Ford hood hinges one year only? Thanks, Pete

The Green Book lists 78-16796 as the right hand hood hinge assembly for 37 only with a different number (91A- ) for 38-40. It then lists 91A-16797 as the left hand hood hinge for 38-40, ignoring a listing for a 37 Ford. So it looks like 37 is one year only.

38 all and 39 std have an oval hole at the rear so you can adjust the side vents back and forth. Also the arms are not as wide. 39 deluxe and 1940 have a 5/16" UNF carriage bolt pressed in place as they have no side vents. |
