Yes, without any problems. You'll have to swap out the rear bearing retainer/engine mount, shift tower.

P.S. assuming your '37 isn't for a V8 60. If the case has a 78 parts prefix, you're good to go.

Is your '34 a 4-cylinder engine, or a V8? Can you repeat that stamped number again, including any "STARS" before and after the number? DD

Checked the Number again on the trans case and it reads " 1B4934 * " I have a V/8 in my 34 Ford car, the trans is still connected to the 24 stud motor , a 37 or 38 Ford motor and Trans .. ? thanks

How about the whole number using XXX for the last 3 digits of the serial number and * for the star. Check the second digit, I bet the B is really an 8 and then things would make sense.

Charlie.. I believe the number was changed at some point, there is no star at the beginning, and I think the original number was *18 4934 * , someone has mistaken the 8 for a B , I have a picture of the motor and trans in my emails but don't know how to post it on the Ford Barn , thanks .. D.. So this being the case what year would the motor and Trans be . Tks ..

If the number in it's entirety is 18 4934, then it almost certainly would indicate an extremely-early 1932 V8, at least for the transmission and original chassis which that serial number is stamped on. That number indicates the 4934th 1932 V8 Ford out of somewhat more than 200,000 V8s, in rough numbers. DD
