Default 39 Ford gas sender

Barners;
I have a friend that needs to repair his original gas sender for his '39. Since most if not all repops are poor, I know I've seen a post of someone who does rebuilding/repair of these units. Can someone recommend a GOOD craftsman for this???
Thanks for the help.

Might try a search, this has been discussed pn numerous threads. I don't remember any of the rebuilders or I'd give you a name.

When mine wasn't working on my 39, the float was no good. Saturated with gas.

Have you pulled your friends out? That may be the issue.

Adileo,
My friend said he had it out and didn't indicate the float was logged, just won't work. I'll try a search as suggest in lieu of any other suggestions.
Thanks all.
