Now I have a heap of parts (ex Chucks Truck) and a lot of hours cleaning the ones I have parted out the rebuild begins. I have had the springs reset & bushed wanted to check if there is a shim or suchlike in the (round 1/2 shell) seat that clamps to the axle for wear resistance, rattles or it stays metal to metal. Didn't find anything dismantling the two axles I have - one cable , the other hydraulic brakes.
Any thoughts Phil
