Steering wheel position
What is the proper position for the steering wheel when tires are in a straight line ?

Re: Steering wheel position
The dealer service bulletins suggest that if the spokes block your view of the speedometer, reposition the steering wheel to have the spokes form an X.
I could not find anything in the Restoration Guidelines that indicate anything about orientation. I don't think it really matters.

Re: Steering wheel position
Two options. One with spokes at 12,3,6 and 9 o'clock potions. OR spokes in an "X" position to better see instruments.

Re: Steering wheel position
I accidentally put my steering wheel in non x position when I rebuilt my steering box. I quickly changed it so I could see instruments as I had it before.
