1918 was the first year. All were non-electric until 1922 when the starter was made an option. Production continued through 1927. I have a poor copy of the wood plans for the top. I hate to post it here because I forgot who originally drew the plans and I can't give credit where credit is due. I don't know of anyone making a kit though.

A model A Club member here in East Texas said that there is a company that has the wood kits. I hope that they have T truck stuff thanks Ken.

Check with Don Lang at Lang's http://www.modeltford.com/ there is a TT section in his catalog, both paper and online. Great guy to deal with.

If the truck is a "metal" bodied "c-cab" Ford manufactured from 1923 until 1927 with only small changes during that time. Patterns for the wood used in the roof might be obtained from some of the Ton Truck club members. Good luck.

Then come on up to St Cloud MN to a place called Al's Auto. He has one that's barnfresh sitting in his lot. I drive by it everyday. It's complete but I don't know if it runs. It's about as neat looking as they get. For some reason I think his price was between 2-3000.

My apologies; I was looking at production years for "trucks". The C-Cab or Open Cab body was produced for model years 1924-26. Some say 1923 but that's calender year and would have been the 1924 model.

The Closed Cab body was produced for model years 1925-27.

Sorry for the confusion. Mine, that is.

Actually the place is no longer Al's its now called St Joe Auto. The truck is a C cab with metal sides.
