Default 30/31 roadster quarter panels installed on coupe

I've seen articles where they stated that roadster quarter panels were installed on a 30/31 coupe. I cannot find any information of whats involved to complete this swap. Thanks for the help.

The quarter panel shapes were quite different between the two body types. Who installed Roadster panels on a Coupe?

the body lines differ greatly ! sounds like a great plan until you see them next to each other . dont give hot rodders a bad name .. i think you are talking about the "other" guys !!

I have seen street rod guys do this on '32 fords. If you look at '32 roadster quarter panels they have a graceful "flare" that the fender goes to, coupes don't. Some guys have grafted roadster quarters to fender less coupes to get this effect. I don't know what you would gain on a Model A though.
