Default starter switch

does any one know what a second generation square type starter switch is worth the one with the strait shaft not the offset one worth and how hard are they to find ? thanks

There are several types, & either one can use the straight or off-set rod.. The trick is to find the top push rod cover to complete the switch.. Much more $$ if complete.. P.S. The foot push rods did not come with the switch, it was a separate item..

There are usually original starter switches on eBay on a regular basis and no to expensive. I am not a big fan of repro parts, but I think the repro starter switches are simple enough that they are OK.
