Default ID this transmission

Can someone identify this transmission?
3 speed that was behind a ford ohv v8 from a 40s truck
I'm thinking it was a 3 sp from the 60s?
Wonder what it is worth?
I think there is a bell housing as well

It looks like a '63-'64 Ford (narrow pattern) synchro 1st gear 3-speed, as it matches the picture in my '64 big car shop manual.

You have a Ford built "303" series trans. Came out in 1963 models. It is fully synchronized in all three forward gears and is pretty rugged.

Yes that is a "303" , very strong and a favorite among the Muscle Cars of that era - GM used them for a few years until they were able to develop a 3 speed that would with stand a full throttle launch of a full size car

I was going to offer 100 for it but then he came back and said he was looking for 350 which I figure is way too much for a nice to have. It does have a bell housing and clutch and pressure plate as well.

The Hurst shifter is probably worth $100 on it's own.
