Default Seat Springs

Does anyone have a picture or drawing showing where the 2 seat springs go that help the seat move forward and backward, they are about 8 in long ,. I didn't take note when I took the seat apart a year ago thanks Fred

A bench seat?
What year and model of car & seat?

I'm seeing a long-ish spring thru the slot in this seat track. This spring and the matching one on the other track pull the seat forward when the release handle is pulled upward.
Is that the one you're asking about?

I can get better pictures tomorrow if this one is similar enough to what you have.

I have a pair of seat "tracks" that have been removed from a '55/56 car front seat, but it is dark now. I will pull them out and take a photo tomorrow and post it here.

I have some pics of my '65 T-Bird seats out of the car. I took the pics to document where the springs go for reassembly, but there's no point in posting them til I know what year and model you're talking about.

Three more images, just because I can.
I've got a '55 with a bench seat but it's powered, no help there.
This white manual bench seat is from a '57 Bird, hope it's close enough to what you have.

Right-side up this time, looking at the drivers side, inside of the seat track.
Photo 1, The attaching point of the rear of the spring on the seat cushion frame.
Photo 2, The attaching point of the front of the spring on the lower part of the seat track.

Photo 3, upside down again, a re-do of the other photo, at the front drivers outside of the lower half of the track assembly. Showing the hooked front end of the spring, at the Yellow arrow.
